FireCoin
0Lately I found out about Bitcoin, a virtual P2P currency. I wanted to make a way of easier payments and donations, so I created a addon for Firefox. It detects metatags containing bitcoin addresses placed by the site author and lets you donate to them. You can also select and right-click a bitcoin address to send BTC to it. More info about the Firefox addon can be found here.
I also made a WordPress plugin so you can easily add the metatags to your WordPress site like I have done. You can find it here.
New firefox addon in development!

Install Flash in Firefox without having Administrator Access
1Have you ever been in a library or Internet café that had IE but no flash, but you need flash to finish whatever you need to do? I were in that situation today, and I found a fix. If you manage to install Firefox this is gonna work. When trying to install flash from Firefox it will tell you it needs admin access and cancels. Here is how to bypass that:
- Download Firefox to a folder you have access to
- Try to install Firefox in the same folder, if this succeeds, you can install flash too
- Download this .xpi, you might need to right-click and save-as
- Rename it to .zip and extract it
- Copy flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll to the plugins folder where you installed firefox
- You can now use flash
Make your FireFox look like Office
0TwentyTen is a skin for Firefox 3.5+ that makes your Firefox look similar to Microsoft Office 2010, and it does a really nice job doing it, as you can see in the screenshot. It has 10 different color-schemes for you to use, all based on different office applications.
It has a file menu as all the office applications, where the original Firefox menu is embedded and you can see history from this view.
If you install the Fission and LocationBar² plugins, you get this neat loading bar under the locationbar, and highlighted domain name:
To install this theme/plugin, you need to go to this link and install it (currently experimental)
New Firefox Section
0I’ve made a new Firefox section under dev, where I will put my Firefox extensions.
First extension is HTTP Proxifier, which lets you access blocked sites with a single click.
